Become one with the old faroese culture

Through Memory Lane in Eiði is a wonderful guided tour that goes through the old part of Eiði, which not only offers a lot of interesting information about the village and its past, but also includes a visit to Ann Mariu where you will see how a working class Faroese family used to live, Pallstovuhandulin where you will enter a well preserved shop and lastly, The stunning Church in Eiði. and Látri which showcases how the Farmer (upperclass) used to live. The tour is about 3 hours and Coffee, Tea and cake is included in the price.

When: Every wednesday in june, july and august at 14:30

Prices:

–              350 DKK for adults

–              150 DKK for kids under 12.

The tour includes:

• Access to all buildings, the museum and the church.
• Hot beverage and light snack (Cake).
• Local Guides.

Suggestions and expectations:

• Parking can be limited, it is therefore recommended to park by the church or the football pitch
• The weather can be unpredictable and it is therefore recommended to dress accordingly.

We meet at in the church of Eiði, where the local guide will talk you throught the tour and some of the sights that you will be visiting.
